The conversation between the CHARACTER and GUIDE' has been pre-recorded as read by professional actors.. The script indicates the synchronization between the orchestra score and the media as a separate line of the score.. Keeping the score and the media together is no more complicated than cueing a section entrance.. Media may be managed by anyone, including a member of the orchestra., another student, or an adult,. WHAT IS A DUAL-LANGUAGE SCRIPT?
Our dual-language script that communicates to the audience in two languages simultaneously using aural and visual modes.—in this case, English and Spanish. Whenever the GUIDE or the CHARACTER is speaking in one language, the written text in the other language is projected behind the orchestra via LCD. In this way, the experiences of speakers of either language are comparable.
